Community Guidelines
Last updated: July 2026 · Version 2026-07-v1
Please note: These guidelines are written in plain language so they're easy to follow. They work alongside our
Terms of Use and
Privacy Policy. LoyalTails reserves the right to update these guidelines; we'll notify members of significant changes.
LoyalTails is a community of pet parents helping each other give their pets better lives. These guidelines keep it safe, kind, and genuinely useful. By joining, you agree to follow them. Breaking them can lead to content removal, a warning, or removal from the community.
1. Be kind and respectful
- Treat every member with courtesy, even in disagreement.
- No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, or personal attacks.
- No discrimination based on religion, caste, gender, region, or any personal characteristic.
- Respect others' privacy — don't share anyone's personal details without their consent.
2. Keep pet advice responsible
- Share your genuine experience, but remember: community advice is not professional veterinary advice.
- For any medical concern, symptom, or emergency, members should consult a qualified veterinarian. Do not discourage anyone from seeing a vet.
- Do not promote unsafe practices, unproven "cures," or anything that could harm an animal.
- Our AI companion offers general guidance only and clearly is not a substitute for a vet.
3. No spam or hidden promotion
- This community is for pet parents. If you offer pet care services or sell products, you must register as a verified Pet Care Partner — you may not promote your business while posing as an ordinary member.
- No repetitive posting, referral-link spam, or unsolicited advertising.
- Our systems (and our team) actively look for hidden self-promotion. If detected, you'll be asked to register properly as a partner or be removed.
4. Staying safe when you meet offline
LoyalTails helps pet parents find each other for playdates, walks, advice, and services. When you take an interaction offline, please protect yourself and your pet:
- Meet first in public, well-populated places.
- Verify a service provider's credentials independently before trusting them with your pet or home.
- Tell someone you trust where you're going.
- Important: LoyalTails introduces members but does not supervise, guarantee, or take responsibility for offline meetings. Any offline interaction is at your own discretion and risk. See our Terms of Use for full details.
5. Post lawful content only
- Nothing illegal, obscene, or that infringes someone's rights.
- No content that impersonates another person or misrepresents its origin.
- No misinformation presented as fact, especially about animal health.
6. How we enforce this
Members can report any post or person using the Report option. Our team reviews reports and may remove content, issue warnings, or remove members. We act on valid legal notices as required by Indian law. To raise a concern or complaint, contact our Grievance Officer — details in our Terms of Use.
