These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of LoyalTails ("we," "us," the "Platform") at loyaltails.in. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use LoyalTails

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it.

2. What LoyalTails is — and is not

LoyalTails is a community platform that helps pet parents connect, learn, and find pet care partners. We are an "intermediary" under the Information Technology Act, 2000. We provide a space for members and partners to interact; we do not provide veterinary, training, grooming, walking, boarding, or other pet care services ourselves.

3. Offline interactions are at your own risk.
LoyalTails may introduce you to other pet parents and to pet care partners. Any meeting, service, transaction, or interaction that takes place offline or outside the Platform is solely between the people involved. LoyalTails does not supervise, verify beyond stated checks, guarantee, insure, or take responsibility for these interactions, including any injury, loss, or harm to any person or animal. You agree to use your own judgment and take reasonable safety precautions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoyalTails is not liable for offline interactions arising from connections made on the Platform.

4. Verified partners

Pet care partners displaying a "Verified by LoyalTails" badge have passed our category-specific checks (for example, license verification for vets, or a screening review for other categories). Verification is a good-faith check, not a guarantee of quality or safety. You remain responsible for your own due diligence before engaging any partner.

5. AI companion and AI-generated content

The Platform includes an AI companion that generates responses and may generate other content ("AI-generated content"). This content is provided for general information only, may be inaccurate, and is not professional veterinary, medical, legal, or financial advice. AI-generated content on the Platform is produced by an automated system, not by a human expert. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions affecting your pet's health or safety.

6. Your content and conduct

You own what you post, but grant LoyalTails a license to display and distribute it on the Platform.
You are responsible for your content and must follow our Community Guidelines.
You must not post unlawful, obscene, infringing, misleading, or harmful content, or content that impersonates others or misrepresents its origin.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law.

7. Content removal and legal compliance

As an intermediary, LoyalTails acts on valid legal notices and court or government orders to remove unlawful content within the timelines required by applicable law. We deploy reasonable measures, including automated tools, to identify and remove prohibited content. Such removal does not, by itself, make us responsible for the content.

8. Grievance redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, complaints about content or conduct on the Platform may be sent to our Grievance Officer:

9. Payments and subscriptions

Pet care partners may pay listing or subscription fees. Store product links may direct you to third-party websites where any purchase is governed by that seller's terms; LoyalTails is not a party to those transactions.

10. Limitation of liability & indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoyalTails is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts of members, partners, or third parties. You agree to indemnify LoyalTails against claims arising from your use of the Platform or your breach of these Terms. (This section in particular should be tailored by your lawyer.)

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version here and, for significant changes, notify members and may require renewed acceptance. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have jurisdiction, subject to your lawyer's advice on the appropriate forum.
